Week 2 – Sew machine
In the second week, I learned about safety when using the workshop room and escape procedures in case of fire.
I learned about the sewing machine and how to use it. I was quite excited at first, but I kept having problems using it and I found it difficult to use. When I used the sewing machine, I was given a different bobbin case than the one Bha used and I didn’t realize until I couldn’t get it to work smoothly (the thread was stuck). Then I kept getting stuck threads and it took a lot of time to fix it, as well as waiting for the right bobbin case.
This class helped me understand more about how to use a sewing machine in a basic way. I was guided on how to install thread, wind a bobbin, adjust basic settings on the machine proficiently.
This is my product after this class, because of the time it took with the problems I was only able to do a few seams and a few faulty stitches.
