Week 3 – photoshop

The original is the New York Times and Versace is the title which I do YSL based on. I created 7 rectangles relied on the original, then I uploaded 7 images corresponding to the rectangles and used clipping mask tool(The contents of the upper layer are visible only within the pixels of the lower layer). After that, I created many texts with different contents from the original to illustrate the contents of news.

Moreover, because of making many lines, rectangles, images and texts, I added up they into differernt groups.

Before and After

I used spot healing brush tool to erase pimples and dark circles under the eyes. To delete a strand of hair sticking out, I use healing brush tool to choose another part of background over the hair. Furthermore, to decrease the redness of her face, I used an Adjustment Layer and reduce the Saturation slider of the red color.
